Insulate Britain may not have targeted Kent’s roads today but that hasn’t stopped them making headlines in the county.

A protester appeared on ITV breakfast show Good Morning Britain and clashed with presenter Richard Madeley.

The pair argued about the protests which have taken place in the county over the last week.

Insulate Britain protester storms off GMB after tense clash

Protester Liam Norton stormed off stage

An Insulate Britain protester stormed off an interview on ITV this morning (September 22).

Over the weekend, it was reported that a mum had been left paralysed from a stroke after the blocking of the M25 prevented her from reaching the hospital in time.

Richard Madeley raised the issue with Norton on Wednesday morning’s show and things soon turned very tense.

Heartbroken family pay tribute to 'star' junior doctor

A heartbroken dad and brother have paid tribute to a junior doctor who was "a shining star".

Thirushika Sathialingam was found dead on Margate seafront following a "drowning accident" according to East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.

Sherena, Kayley and Elise Terry are incredibly close sisters and say they wouldn't change being triplets despite facing daily comments about which one of them is 'prettier' or 'skinnier' in a bid to tell the identical sisters apart.

Teenage boy 'threatened with knife' during attempted robbery

A teenage boy was reportedly threatened with a knife in an attempted robbery on Tuesday (September 21).

The suspect is said to have approached the boy with a knife but he refused to hand over his belongings and ran from the scene.
