Police seize vehicle carrying stolen goods in Strood

A motorist stopped by Kent Road Police was found to be driving a vehicle that was carrying suspected stolen items.

Officers located the vehicle in Strood, and after discovering that it was linked to a suspicious event, decided to request the driver stop the vehicle.

After conducting a search of white Citroen van, officers recovered catalytic converters and assorted tools that were linked to a theft.

Police arrested one man and brought him into custody. The vehicle, as well as the recovered stolen items, have been seized by police.
