It may only be September but tickets for Bedgebury’s hugely popular Christmas light trail have already gone on sale due to high public demand.

This family-friendly one-mile magical festive trail in the heart of the High Weald AONB countryside will once again be awash with enchanting illuminations.

From Friday, November 19, 2021, until Monday, January 3, 2022, you can discover the highlights of Bedgebury Pinetum’s impressive conifer collection adorned with decorations.

Walk past the mesmerising 'Field of light' where ribbons of bright colour adorn the ground and light up the foliage growing on the beautiful landscape.

Discover a carpet of larger-than-life flora when the reflections of 'Giant lilies' dance playfully on Marshall's Lake, and pause for a moment of quiet reflection at the 'Lantern Trees' glowing in the fire garden.

Christmas at Bedgebury is full of seasonal surprises and shimmering reflections that cast light on beautiful silhouettes of majestic trees, all choreographed to a soundtrack of festive classics.

Independent street food vendors bring a delicious twist to tasty treats on offer. Have yourself a holly, jolly Christmas and complete your walk under the stars with a *spiced winter warmer or *hot chocolate shared with someone special.

Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest is home to the National Conifer Collection and cared for by Forestry England.

Forestry England manages and cares for the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests, with over 230 million visits per year.

As England’s largest land manager, it shapes landscapes for people to enjoy, wildlife to flourish and businesses to grow.

The 128-hectare (320-acre) Bedgebury National Pinetum is recognised as one of the most significant collections of conifer trees and plants on one site anywhere in the world. There are more than 12,000 trees, including threatened and historically important specimens.

The Bedgebury team travel the world to collect seeds from rare species natural habitats for propagation and conservation.

Bedgebury is a key partner in the Global Trees Campaign run by Fauna and Flora International and Botanic Gardens Conservation International.

Bedgebury also makes a major contribution to the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation. The Friends of Bedgebury Pinetum is a charity that supports research into, and the conservation of, all flora and fauna, and the sharing of related knowledge with the general public.
