Man injured in high street ‘bottle attack’ in Broadstairs

A man was hospitalised after allegedly being assaulted with a bottle in Broadstairs.

Officers were alerted to reports of an altercation at the junction of Broadstairs High Street and Prospect Place on August 29.

When the police arrived at the scene it was reported that a man had been assaulted with a bottle.

He was taken to hospital where he has since been discharged.

Officers are on the hunt for a man described as white, in his 30s, with short brown hair and stubble, who was wearing a green and white Adidas jacket.

He was reportedly involved in the incident.
