Five police officers rushed to hospital after taxi collision in Dartford town centre

Five Kent Police officers have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a patrol car was involved with a collision with a taxi in Dartford.

The incident took place near Dartford Town Centre in the early hours of this morning (Sunday, September 12) near Prospect Park shopping centre.

Kent Police patrol car was involved in a collision with a white Toyota Prius taxi at around 3.20am.

All five officers were taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries of varying severity, none of which are believed to be life-threatening.

No serious injuries were sustained by anyone who was travelling in the taxi.

Witnesses are being urged to come forward after five police officers were injured during a collision in Dartford.

Enquiries are being carried out by officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, who would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dashcam or CCTV footage.
