A Margate man described as "in distress" has been passed to healthcare professionals.

Police were called to the Margate Lido car park on Ethelbert Crescent at around 12.40pm yesterday (September 4).

Officers were responding to concern for a person in distress.

The man was then passed to the care of healthcare professionals.

Police vehicles were pictured in the Lido car park while ambulance and fire and rescue services also attended the scene.
