Police seize vehicle in Dartford over ‘wanted person’

Kent road traffic police stopped a vehicle in the early hours of today (September 5) in the Dartford area after receiving information there was a wanted person within the car.

The car was found to be on the roads with false registration plates and was uninsured.

The driver had no licence and failed a roadside drug wipe. The passenger was in possession of cannabis.

Police seized the vehicle after the passenger was dealt with at the roadside for the possession of cannabis and an item was seized for destruction.

The driver's blood was then taken for testing.
