Huge police search in Lydd as concerns grow for missing man

A huge search for a missing man is ongoing in Lydd near Romney Marsh.

Wayne Leppard, 68, was last seen in the Pleasance Road area at around 10am on Friday (September 3).

He is believed to be wearing blue jeans, a blue top with glasses and is described as white, of slim build and six feet tall.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned of his whereabouts and have began searching the area.
