A former drummer of the hard rock band AC/DC is playing at a venue ro raise funds for it.
Chris Slade will appear at The Booking Hall in Dover from 7pm on Saturday, September 25.
Slade was AC/DC’s drummer from 1989 to 1994 and 2015 to 2016.
He has also played for other acts including Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, Uriah Heep, The Firm, Gary Moore, Gary Numan, and David Gilmour of Pink Floyd.
Slade appears in Dover with his own band, The Chris Slade Timeline, and 100% of ticket sales for this show go directly for keeping the venue going.
The Booking Hall, in Elizabeth Street, was like other venues financially struck when it had to close during the coronavirus lockdowns.
It was only able to srivive via findraising and government grants.
Tickets for The Chris Slade Timeline cost up to £11 and can be bought via the website thebookinghall.com
