As we come to the end of summer, the Bank Holiday Monday stands as the last proper day of summer before schools return, meaning it might just be the last chance to grab a drink or have a meal with friends and family before autumn rolls around.

That being said, with it being a day off for many up and down the country, supermarkets in Kent won't be sticking to their usual schedules.

You won't want to be caught out without crisps, beer or that one ingredient you really need to sort out dinner – so it's important to be aware of the major changes to opening and closing times, and be aware that shops might be a little busier than usual.
