There are long delays on the M25 this morning (August 25) following a number of accidents.
Most notably, a crash involving a lorry and a car has led to queues on the clockwise carriageway after J5 for the M26.
Traffic is queuing back to the J4 with motorists on the M26 also being affected.
Traffic was held for 20 minutes while police cordoned off the accident.

Lane one (of four) remains closed currently.
To make things worse, traffic was already queuing due to an earlier accident just before Clacket Lane services which had closed lane four.
On the anti-clockwise carriageway all lanes have now reopened following a crash between J8 and J9.
