Kent Fire and Rescue Service said in a statement: "A woman has been released from her car following a crash involving two other vehicles in Bayhall Road, Tunbridge Wells, which left one car on its side.

"Firefighters stabilised the vehicle and used battery-powered cutting equipment to create space allowing paramedics to assess the casualty's condition, before transferring to a waiting ambulance."

The two attending fire engines left the scene at 5.56pm.

Equipment used in the rescue included Jaws of life and Vehicle stabilisation blocks.

As Bayhall Road was closed, there were also bus diversions during the incident.
