M25 Dartford Crossing traffic updates as drivers face ‘severe’ seven mile delays

There are severe delays on the M25 this afternoon (August 20)

Drivers approaching the Dartford Crossing are facing 7 miles of queues on the anti-clockwise carriageway.

Traffic is currently stretching back from the QEII crossing back to J4 for Orpington.

What do we know so far?

There are severe delays on the M25 approach to the Dartford Crossing.

Travel time from J4 to J1 is thought to be over an hour as the traffic continues to build.

Motorists are advised to allow for extra time if they're using the anti-clockwise carriageway in to Essex.
