Live updates as emergency services and police cordon off area in Folkestone seafront

An area of Folkestone seafront has been cordoned off by police this afternoon (August 18).

It is believed that the area around Marine Parade near the Burstin hotel has been cordoned off.

Police, ambulance crews and Kent Fire and Rescue have all been pictured at the scene near the harbour arm.
