Folkestone seafront incident: Police issue update after cordoning off car park

Police have issued an update after an area of Folkestone seafront was cordoned off this afternoon (August 18).

It is believed the incidents has taken place near the area around Marine Parade near the Gran Burstin hotel is affected.

A coach appears to be the focus of attention from emergency services.

The force is there alongside ambulance crews and Kent Fire and Rescue Service.

Part of Folkestone seafront is cordoned off

A spokesman said: "Kent Police was called to a reported medical incident near Marine Parade, Folkestone at 12.10pm on Wednesday August 18, 2021.

"Officers are currently at the scene assisting South East Coast Ambulance Service."

It's thought that four or five police cars are still at the scene.
