Cyclist fighting for his life after ‘falling from bike’ near Sevenoaks

A cyclist is in a critical condition after 'falling from his bike' in an incident near Sevenoaks.

Kent Police said they were called at 11.40am yesterday (August 15).

A man riding a green Bianchi Ultra bicycle was travelling along Starhill Road towards Dunton Green when officers believe he fell from the bike.

They are still working to investigate the exact circumstances that led to the incident.

The cyclist, is in his 50s and from Hampshire, was treated for injuries at the scene.

He was then taken to a London hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for any witnesses to get in contact.

They would also like to obtain dashcam footage that might show the cyclist prior to and in the moments leading up to the incident.
