Members of the public used cable ties to arrest a driver after two crashes in Kent.
Police in Ashford say a man made off from the scene of an accident after two crashes in Ashford.
But officers say he was apprehended nearby by members of the public who used cable ties to stop him escaping.
Police say a number of members of the public were involved in the detention.
Officers then arrived at the scene and arrested the man on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving while unfit through drink and drugs, failing to provide a sample, having no insurance, and having no licence.
The incident happened in Kennington on Saturday.
