A flight attendant has revealed how you can get special treatment on planes.

However, her recent video has revealed one thing you should do to 'change your flight dramatically'.

She told her followers: "If you do this one simple thing on an aircraft, I promise you, you will get the royal treatment from the flight attendants.

"Being a flight attendant is an exhausting job.

Kat revealed the secret in her TikTok video

"We do different time zones, waking up different hours, and deal with angry customers.

"So I promise you, the next time you fly, if you want special treatment from the flight attendants this is all you have to do."

She then told viewers that the one thing they should do is buy their flight attendant a gift, such as a voucher, chocolate bar or lip balm.

"We will know what you look like and we will know where you are sitting and the whole crew will be taken care of," she said.

The video has around 680,000 likes and more than 4,000 comments from people who loved the suggestion, although not everyone was keen on the idea.

One person said: "I always give them donuts!!!!! They treat me so nice lol."

Another added: "I never thought about giving little gifts, but it makes sense! Thanks for this!!"

"Wait, people give gifts to flight attendants? I've never heard of that, commented a third.

However, a few people said flight attendants should "take care of everyone equally" because "that's their job."

One person wrote: "So… we have to bribe flight attendants to just do their job?"

"I already paid for the super expensive ticket to get good service, and then you want me to bring gifts?" asked another viewer.
