Drivers have been warned of the tunnels at the Dartford Crossing being set for closure at certain times during August and September.
Maintenance and repair works are set to be carried out on a section of the Essex Viaduct, just beyond the exit of both tunnels at the Dartford Crossing.
This will necessitate the tunnels being closed in order to complete the work safely.
The closures will take place from 8pm to 10am Monday to Friday over certain weeks to cause as little disruption as possible.
Stone Parish Council have listed the dates for the works as follows:

Dartford Crossing east tunnel

From Monday August 16 to Friday September 3 2021, excluding the summer bank holiday on Monday August 30 2021.
A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the west tunnel. Please note that restrictions will be in place for vehicles greater than 4.8m in height.
Dartford Crossing west tunnel
Closures in place
This includes the A282 Junction 1a northbound entry slip road.
Works will take place from Monday September 6 to Friday September 10 2021
A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the east tunnel.
A clearly signed diversion for the junction 1a northbound entry slip road will be in place via the A282 southbound to junction 1b and return, where you can access lanes 3 and 4 on the A282 northbound for the East Tunnel.
