Emergency services crews have been spotted at Sunny Sands beach in Folkestone this morning (August 1).

Eyewitness reports say the beach was taped off shortly before 9.30am.

It is not yet clear exactly what the incident is but worried residents have taken to Twitter to find out more.

There are said to be multiple police vehicles at the scene as well as an ambulance.
