The A20 outside Aylesford has experienced significant disruption this morning after reports of a chemical spill emerged.
Lake Road, near the A20 and junction with the M20, was closed in the early hours of this morning.
The closure came after a chemical incident saw Kent Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service called to an industrial estate near the area.
A tweet from South East Coast Ambulance Service said that crews were called out, including a Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) at 5.38am.
15 patients are currently being assessed, with all having minor symptoms.

Police statement on Aylesford leak
Kent police have issued the following statement:
"Kent Police was called by South East Coast Ambulance Service at 5.39am on Friday 30 July 2021 to be made aware of reports of a suspected chemical leak at a business premises in Mills Road on the Quarry Wood Industrial Estate, Aylesford.
Officers are at the scene where they are assisting ambulance crews and Kent Fire and Rescue Service."
