A driver tested positive for cocaine after being reported for by CCTV operators, police said in early hours of this morning.
A report from Kent Police Medway helped draw the attention of Kent Police Roads Policing Unit (RPU) to alleged motoring offences.
CCTV reported that the driver of the targeted vehicle was allegedly using drugs before driving off in the vehicle, said police.
Traffic police say they stopped the car and the driver subsequently tested positive for cocaine.
The vehicle was uninsured and officers therefore seized the car, added police.
In a tweet at 3.39am Kent Police RPU said: "Report from Kent Police Medway CCTV that the driver of this vehicle was using drugs then drove off.
"We stopped this car and the driver was drug tested. Driver failed showing positive for Cocaine.
"Vehicle was also not insured and therefore seized."
