A police investigation is under way after a woman died two weeks after a crash near Ashford.

Officers were called to the A20 in Charing at around 1.40pm on July 8 after reports a crash took place between a blue Ford Focus and a bronze Renault Scenic

The Renault Scenic was driving on The High Street towards Station Road when it was involved in the collision with the Ford Focus.

The woman, who was the passenger in the Ford Focus, was pronounced dead yesterday (July 22) and the next of kin have been informed.
