Police take vehicle off road after seeing state of tyres

Kent Police's Road Policing Unit (RPU) today reported the driver of a Renault Clio after they pulled alongside an unmarked police vehicle.

Officers found the vehicle had a defective tyre and on further investigation it was found that the car was uninsured.

A roadworthiness prohibition (PG9) was issued on the vehicle, while the driver was reported for all offences.
