Worldwide DJ David Guetta has given Margate a starring role in his latest music video for 'If You Really Love Me (How Will I Know)'.

The track features British musicians John Newman and MistaJam and the music video was shot at Dreamland.

The clip premiered earlier this month and, much to many locals' surprise, it was a familiar scene in the background.

David, John and Mistajam lead a dance party at the colourful theme park.

Dancers perform in between rides, spin on teacups and ride the carousel.

David himself sets up a DJ booth on one of the amusements as he throws his hands in the air.

The French star also shared an image of himself and his collaborators behind the scenes on Instagram.

Whether he fully understood he was in Kent or not is another matter, as he tagged the location as London!

It's not the first time Dreamland has taken centre stage in a music video either.

The Margate theme park was used by Five Star for their single 'Crazy' in 1984 and by Marina and the Diamonds for 'Blue' in 2014.

David Guetta's 'If You Really Love Me' is a jazzed up version of Whitney Houston's 'How Will I Know', ready for the summer of 2021.

Vocals are provided by John Newman, a name you might recognise.

John is the singer behind hits 'Blame' and 'Love Me Again', and also brother of UK Eurovision star James.
