Paramedics have released of 'selfish' parking in Camber Sands delaying an ambulance on Sunday (July 18).
This comes after tens of thousands of people flocked to the popular East Sussex beach on the hottest day of they year so far as the mercury struck 31C.
A picture shared by South East Coast Ambulance Service from Sunday (July 18) shows the chaotic scenes in Camber Sands as an ambulance struggles to weave its way through rows of 'selfishly' parked cars.
The statement which accompanied the harrowing picture reads: "Selfish parking seriously impacts our ability to reach some patients quickly, esp in popular coastal areas.

"On Sunday it took this crew twice as long to reach a seriously ill patient at Camber.
"Please park sensibly!"
A similar event occurred during the warm spell of weather in early June when another was caught in a traffic jam as it tried attend an incident at Camber Sands.
The traffic was especially worse on Sunday after an accident on the Road between Rye and Camber caused further delays.
