Martin Lewis issued some words of advice to anyone with a phone.
The Money Saving Expert founder was on the show to discuss a Royal Mail scam text which is one of many that is currently circulating.
Mr Lewis reacted to Eamonn's comment on receiving a fraudulent message from the firm.
Eamonn had said: "I got a text this morning from the Royal Mail. It says your package will be held and not be delivered due to a £1.99 unpaid shipping fee."

Martin said: "It's not just Royal Mail. It's DPD and another delivery companies.
"When they get in touch with that charge, you're gonna give them your bank details and it's a root into scamming you.
"Unless you are sure you have ordered a parcel and it is coming from that company you do not touch those texts if you are asked to pay. Absolutely delete it."
The MSE founder Mr Lewis added: "If you get a message from a legitimate company and you want them to stop contacting you, you can send STOP and that's the right thing to do.
"But if you get a message from an illegitimate company, texting back STOP tells them that you are a real phone number and now they know that there's a person there so just delete it."
This Morning continues to air each and every weekday on ITV1 with Eamon and his wife Ruth Langsford presenting the daytime TV favourite each day this week.
