Over 1,600 cases of the highly contagious Delta variant have been recorded in Kent, according to the latest Government figures.
Public Health England has begun releasing data on the number of Delta variant cases confirmed in each local authority.
The figures mean that it is possible to track how the coronavirus variant is spreading throughout Kent, and where it is most prevalent.
The most recent data was released on Friday (July 16) and covers the period of time up to June 30.

In that time, 1,662 cases of the Delta variant were recorded in Kent.
Medway has recorded the highest number of Delta variant cases, with 295.
