Woman reportedly raped by man in Folkestone

Police are searching for witnesses after a woman was reportedly raped in Folkestone.

The victim told police that she was approached by a man in Harbour Way at around 1am on Monday July 5, and was later raped by him.

The suspect, a bald white man, is described as around five feet eight inches tall and of muscular build.

He was wearing a dark short-sleeved top, dark trousers and white trainers.

The suspect is believed to have been driving a dark Ford S-Max, which was seen near the Harbour Arm at around 1am.

An investigation is ongoing and officers are urging anyone who has any information to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/117579/21.
