The first and only cat cafe in Canterbury is set to open this autumn.
The cafe is still in its development stages with owners currently asking members of the public to share their thoughts via an online survey to inform how they will operate later this year.
A modern phenomenon, cat and dog cafes have been opening across the country in recent years as the public look to spend downtime with some furry friends.
Canterbury Tails Cafe is an independent business, but at similar set-ups elsewhere in the UK visitors enjoy a drink and a snack as they pet the cats who stroll around the cafe.

On their survey, the cafe has also announced plans to sell merchandise to customers with clothing, jewellery and home decor potentially available.
There are set to be events on offer too with everything from craft sessions to kitty yoga being considered.
The business' full website is set to launch later this month with a Q&A section to answer any locals' queries.
Meanwhile, the Canterbury Tails Cafe social media accounts are up and running.
On their Instagram you can see snaps of the cats set to reside at the cafe.
Marsha, Marmalade, Mayo, Clawdia, Mackerel, Oolong, Waffle and Gary are the four-legged friends ready to become Canterbury's latest obsession.
