A very peculiar incident occurred at a Folkestone beach after a car ended up stuck on the shore.
Danny Burns, an onlooker at the site of the strange piece of driving described a car driving down onto the beach at Sunny Sands.
Unfortunately for the driver, they became stuck on the sands on Friday (June 26), and as the tide rushed in, the car's fate was sealed.
Danny described watching the car being slowly submerged:

Though a picture taken at the scene was blurry, it is possible to make out the car sat on a sandbank, surrounded at the front and back by sea water.
