Five people have been injured following a fight at a Canterbury bar.

Kent Police was alerted to a brawl in The Cuban shortly after 12.30am on Friday (June 25).

The force received a report of a disturbance at the High Street venue and it is believed a group of men were involved in the scrap in the bar's outdoor area.

Officers attended and five people reported injuries following assaults, two of which needed hospital treatment.

Kent Police has now launched an investigation into the fight.

A spokesman said: "Anyone who witnessed what happened, has mobile phone footage or information that may assist enquiries is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/109661/21.

"You can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or by using their anonymous online form."
