Infection rates across Kent are rising, and every district in the county has seen a significant rise in infections over the last few weeks.

Despite Kent remaining as one of the least-infected places in England, a number of neighbourhoods in the county are showing rapid increases in their infection rates.

It comes after the June 21 reopening date, dubbed 'Freedom Day', was delayed by four weeks in the wake of the spread of the Delta variant.

Medway has by far the most neighbourhoods in Kent with rising infection rates, with 15 neighbourhoods registering a rise in infections in the past week.

The data for infections measures the number of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the seven days leading up to June 16, the most recent data available.

It compares that data with the infections registered for the week up to June 9 to see which neighbourhoods have increased the most in the past week.

We've put together a list of the ten neighbourhoods with fastest-increasing infection rates in Kent.
