Serious assault outside Folkestone pub left victim with head injuries

A man was left with serious head injuries after he was attacked near Folkestone Harbour.

The victim, in his 30s, was assaulted by another man after speaking to him in the front courtyard of the pub in Beach Street at around 6.35pm on May 30.

Officers and paramedics were called to the scene, and the victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries to his leg and head.

The suspect is described as a white man, with short black wavy hair and a beard.

He was reportedly wearing sunglasses, a black T-shirt with a white logo on the chest, blue jeans and black trainers.
