There are long delays on both the M20 and M25 this afternoon as heavy rain brings chaos to Kent's motorways.

There are 10 mile queues on the anti-clockwise M25 approach to the Dartford Crossing this afternoon with traffic queuing back to J4 at Orpington.

On the other side of the motorway there are delays approaching Kent from Essex.

On the M20, an accident has forced all traffic to be temporarily held between J5 and J6 on the westbound carriageway.
