A man his been arrested after a motorcyclist was found on the A2 in a '"life threatening condition".
Police suspect a vehicle failed to stop at the scene of the incident near the Black Prince Interchange and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Anyone with dash-cam footage from that area at that time are asked to make contact, calling 101 quoting CAD 828/22MAY21 or the witness line 020 8285 1574.
The motorcyclist, a woman believed to be in her 30s, is currently in hospital fighting for her life. Her next of kin have been informed.

The crash led to road closures while investigation took place between A223 Southwold Road (Black Prince Interchange) and A2018 Old Bexley Lane (Dartford Heath).
A spokesman for the Met Police said: "Police were called shortly after 2.35am on Saturday, May 22 after a motorcyclist was found with injuries on the A2 towards Kent near the Black Prince Interchange.
"It is believed a vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
"The motorcyclist, a woman believed to be in her 30s, is currently in hospital in a life threatening condition. Her next of kin have been informed.
"A man has been arrested in Kent on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
"He remains in police custody."
