Drivers in Kent are being asked to avoid the M20 after a lorry fire.
The motorway is closed in both directions as a result of the fire, leading to huge tailbacks and significant delays.
Highways England say that traffic is queuing back for more than two miles and that journeys are delayed by more than 20 minutes.
The M20 is closed at Ashford, in both directions between junctions eight and nine.

Kent Fire and Rescue Services is on the scene along with Highways England Traffic Officers.
Now, Highways England has released a diversion guiding drivers away from the blockage.
Highways England said: "Road users wishing to continue their journey eastbound (coast bound) are advised to follow the hollow, yellow circle diversion symbol.
"Exit the M20 at J8 on to the A20 eastbound towards Ashford. Remain on the A20 to rejoin at J9.
"Road users wishing to continue their westbound (London bound) are advised to exit the at J9 and follow the above diversion, in reserve and hollow, yellow square diversion symbol."
