Seven people have been taken to hospital following an explosion in Ashford this morning.
Two casualties have been taken to a London hospital with serious injuries while five others have been taken to William Harvey Hospital with injuries thought to be ‘less serious’
The explosion took place on Mill View in Willesborough around 8am on Tuesday (April 4)
Emergency services descended on the scene as flames engulfed a house not far away from the M20 motorway.

Residents living nearby took to social media claiming they had felt their ‘house shake’ following the explosion.
As the fire was extinguished the true toll of the destruction was seen by all.
Pictures showed devastating damage to houses in the road with dozens of emergency service crews in attendance.
Claire Oram, who lives a few houses away from the explosion told KentLive: “The whole house shook. My kids were eating at the time and it scared us all to be honest.”
“It’s an awful awful incident. I just hope everyone is OK.”
A statement from the South East Coast ambulance service said: “Two patients have been taken to hospital in London with serious injuries.”
“A further five patients have been taken to William Harvey Hospital with injuries thought to be less serious. We remain at the scene in support of our emergency service colleagues.”
