The owner wrote: Unfortunately some people in Dover around 11.30pm last night (perhaps not being able to handle a beer anymore with finally being allowed out), decided to take a hit at our window and smashed it along with a great little comment about the colour of my skin…. because the restaurant and hospitality haven’t suffered enough this year.

That’s not to mention the two-year-old sleeping above.

“Luckily the support we have had from our customers for the past two years far outweighs the few bad eggs we seem to have around here.”

Having already received over 600 likes, the Dover community has come out strong in its support for Jerk n’ Tings.

One commenter wrote: “I’m so sorry that you’ve had to put up this dreadful behaviour. It is totally inexcusable whether they have been drinking or not.

“I hope that you know that most of us are decent human beings who wish you well in all that you do. Best wishes to you and your family xx”

Another wrote: “Oh my goodness I’m so sorry, I hope they get their karma that is truly awful!

“I love your food and regularly get a takeaway there. Hope you’re all okay.”

Police have been approached for comment.
