Parts of Kent have experienced more snow today as the current cold weather snap shows no signs of letting up.
Pictures taken in west Kent this morning (April 12) revealed small accumulations of snow building up on the ground.
The white stuff has arrived just in time for another significant easing of lockdown restrictions across the country.
From today, ‘non essential’ shops, hairdressers, outside pubs and restaurants and gyms will all reopen to the public.

Pub-goers will need to wrap up warm though as chilly temperatures are forecast for the first day of outdoor hospitality reopenings in England.
Along with beer gardens and outdoor dining areas, non-essential shops, hairdressers, indoor gyms, swimming pools, nail salons and zoos in England will also be opening for the first time this year.
People have been commenting on the unusual spring weather on Twitter, with one saying: "Snow in April. England is not for me."
While Piers Morgan tweeted: “All pubs and restaurants are-open outside,,,It started snowing in London, In mid April. This is as British as British gets”
Temperatures have plummeted to just 3C over the last 24 hours as mid April feels more like winter.

Some isolated daytime showers, otherwise mainly dry with decent sunny or clear periods.
Daytime temperatures near normal. Overnight frosts with some mist and fog, though soon clearing by day.
