The snow has arrived for Easter Monday, with many recording the snow flakes falling outside their homes.

In a shocking turn of events, the BBC forecasted snow to fall in the county, just days after Kent experienced a 20C heatwave last week (March 30).

Now people are stepping outside their homes to the views of white snow flakes, floating down into their gardens.

Snow has been seen all over the county including: Dover, Herne Bay, Sittingbourne, Gillingham and other areas.

Other videos have been seen on Twitter of the snowfall, one video shows how heavy the snow is in East Kent.

Snow has also been filmed in the Bay, with a slow motion video of the flakes falling on the grass of someone's back garden.

Many other social media users are rejoicing as snow hits their parts of Kent today.

The snow has been forecast for today (April 5) alongside showers of hail and sleet, with temperatures expected to drop to 2C.

This years Easter is said to be the coldest in a number of years, as the MET Office warned of "Arctic blast".

However it's unlikely to come to much with temperatures warming slightly back up again later this week.
