Last week, coronavirus restrictions were eased which enabled groups of six people to meet outside in a public or private garden.
The ‘stay at home’ message was also binned although people were still advised to ‘stay local’.
The specifics of what that meant though are unclear and Matt Hancock confirmed he would be returning home to Suffolk this Easter.
Rosie Duffield tweeted: “Gorgeous sunny day in #Canterbury and Whitstable.
"Very crowded around the chip shop in #Whitstable and very few masks in sight on narrow pavements.
“Heavy traffic coming towards the beach too.
“Please remember #SocialDistancing and masks still essential for a truly #HappyEaster.”
It’s not the first time the MP has been concerned by images of Whitstable.
It's no wonder plenty of people are heading to Whitstable.
Last week, the beach was named as the best outside London.
