This stunning view is seen by the photographer who took it as a beacon of hope in the pandemic nightmare.
Robert Guest got this night time shot of the Dover Patrol Memorial, outside St Margaret’s-at-Cliffe.
The photograph was perfectly timed and framed so that the moon can be seen shining from behind the top of the monument.
Mr Guest,who has taken up astrophotography as a hobby, said: “I thought of this as a beacon of light as the end of the lockdown is in sight.”

Last month Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a road map out of lockdown, which started with schools reopening on March 8.
The last restrictions ends on June 21 when large events can go ahead and nightclubs can open.
